Tree removal

At the special branch arborist we only remove trees if we feel there is a need to. Our aim is to save and preserve trees, not to cut them down. Sure trees can be planted in the wrong place, the wrong selection of species is always a problem. It can cause house foundations to crack, pavement cracking and cracking of sewage pipes. Trees can also be badly diseased, for instance with borer where the only solution may be to remove the tree. Trees might already be dead which can be very dangerous in a small environment. Trees can also have structural faults where limbs have split or broken off and the tree may be deemed as dangerous. If any of the above examples are applicable to your trees then we can come out to look at your tree free of charge and work out the best solution for your tree.

Trees are removed either with a rope and harness technique or with an elevated work platform if neccessary. All the work is carried out in a safe manner ensuring no damage is done. The entire tree is removed including grinding of the stump. The whole work site is totally cleaned up. All branches, leaves and wood are chipped and turned into mulch. Or alternatively the wood can be cut up for fire wood and left on site. Your garden will be just as clean or better than before we carried out the job. If a tree removal permit is required we can organise it with your local council.
